Age 92, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2016, surrounded by family. Jeane was born in Sturgis, MI, on February 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen (Miller) Boyer. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a long time member of the Oshtemo United Methodist Church. Jeane loved her family and did her very best to provide for their happiness. She was a hard worker who retired from Brown Paper Company after thirty-five years and then went on to work for Gilmore Brothers for over fifteen years. When not working she enjoyed cooking and baking. Her baked goods were often requested and shared with her church family. Jeane loved to travel and made many trips out west. On April 26, 1944 she married William Menck Sr. who preceded her in passing in 1998. She was also preceded in passing by a granddaughter and six siblings. Jeane is survived by four children, Thomas (Nancy) Menck, Jerry (Lynn) Menck, Sue Miller, Kathy (Gary) Fessenden; two step-sons, William Jr. and James Menck; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
