Age 67, passed away on August 21, 2020, at his home in Kalamazoo. He was born in Michigan on April 8, 1953, the son of William and Ardeane (Belonga) Monck. Steven was a kind and caring man; his outgoing personality, humor and helpful nature made him a joy to know. He was a master plumber and member of the Local 357. When not working he enjoyed playing golf, bowling and trips to the casino. He was fond of taking walks and traveling. Steven was also immensely proud of his Native American heritage and was a tribal member of the Chippewa Indians. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who loved him. On November 9, 1990, he married Diana L. (Elmore) Monck. She preceded him in passing in 2019. He is survived by two children, Jason (Amanda) Monck and Tiffany Monck; two grandchildren, Alerah and Rowand Monck; his parents; siblings, Robert (Katie) Monck, Cindy (Charles) Krill, Kathy (Patrick) Jean; many nieces, nephews and friends.
