Age 67, passed away at home with his family by his side on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Terry was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on April 11, 1954, the son of Gerald G. and Phyllis A. (Danhoff) Callen. He was a 1972 graduate of Parchment High School and retired from Schawk after more than 30 years of employment. Terry enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Pine Lake and boating with his family. He was mechanically inclined and spent many hours working on his boats and motorcycles. He also loved racing his motorcycles. Terry liked to play cards, go to the shooting range and cooking. He was a kind and generous person who never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. On November 1, 1975, Terry married the former Penny G. Nichols, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Joseph (Karla) Callen and Sarah (Michael) Westover; grandsons, Noah Callen and Aiden, Lincoln and Sterling Westover; father, Gerald Callen; brother, Michael Callen; mother in-law, Zana Nichols; brother in-law, Kimber (Omar Peralez) Nichols; niece, Colleen Callen and nephew, Daniel Callen. Terry was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Phyllis (Arthur) Heck; step-mother, Genevieve Callen and father in-law, Eugene Nichols. In accordance with his wish, cremation will take place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
