I met Terry in the early 1990\'s. He was a kind and gentle person who had quite a sense of humor. Over the years we had many conversations about his time in the Navy, and he said that he was also in the Navy Choir. He shared some fond memories about being on board the USS Tweedy, which I thought was an interesting coincidence because it was his last name. Terry said that he worked in the boiler room of that ship, and the guys used to call him the King of the Boiler Room. He told me that he had a twin brother and a sister. Many years back he was able to quit smoking because his sister connected him with an acupuncturist which was the only thing that worked. The last time I spoke to Terry was about a year ago on the phone. Terry said that his health was not going well at that time. I\'m sad to hear that he had passed. Terry was a good man and my deepest condolences to his family.
