A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 18, 2022, beginning at 10:30 AM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will be at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 74, passed away at his home on February 11, 2022. Tom was born in Detroit, MI, on September 12, 1947, the son of the late William and Evelyn (Heinonen) Dymond. In 1967, he enlisted in the United States Airforce and served as a Pararescuemen. After being honorably discharged in 1971, he returned to make Southwest Michigan his home. On October 30, 1970, he married Kay M. Christopher-Dymond who preceded him in passing on November 8, 2020.  Tom believed in the Lord and his faith was the foundation of his character. He was a kind, loving and generous man. He worked hard to provide a happy home and life for his family and he leaves behind wonderful memories to cherish. When not working he enjoyed bowling, was a WWII history enthusiast and traveled to the beaches of South Haven on a regular basis. Above all Tom loved his family. He was proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. Tom is survived by his children, Kristina Marie (Rob) Dymond-Jacox and Nathan (Denise) Dymond; grandchildren, Lauren and Addison Jacox, Trenton Dymond, Leigh Anna, Paige and Nick Wester; great-grandson, Brooks Wester; siblings, Nancy Dymond, Sue (Gary) Davenport, William (Barbie) Dymond; nieces, nephews and friends.
