Age 67, passed away Tuesday evening, October 4, 2022. Tom was born in Kalamazoo on May 10, 1955, the son of Donald and Melva (Bean) Washburn. Tom was an avid fisherman. He loved riding his Harley. He loved life in general. He always thought of others before himself. Tom paid special attention to making sure that his family was well taken care of. Tom is survived by his wife, Alice (Richards), who he loved so much, he married her twice. Tom is also survived by his children, Candy Washburn; Shawn Washburn, Thomas (Erica) Washburn Jr., Amanda (Steven) West; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Earl (Kathy) Chisholm, Victor Hodges, Jesse Washburn, April Kelley; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
