A service in witness to Vicki’s life and faith will be held in a Celebration of Her Life on Sunday, July 18, at Portage United Church of Christ, 2731 W. Milham Rd. The time of the service is yet to be determined. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes, c/o of the funeral home.

Vickie was one of the kindest and most gentle women I have ever known. Always looking out for others whether it's family, friends or acquaintances. I will always remember her for the years of love my mom, Jennie received from her during her end of life journey at my house. Vickie treated my mom like she was her own mother and I know my mom thought of Vickie as her own daughter! All of the love, laughs, trials, transitions and help received from Vickie will be forever ingrained in my memory. So for now rest my friend, give my mom a hug for me and I will see you again!
