Age 65, passed away in the early hours of March 21st at his home in Portage, Michigan. Born in Kankakee and raised in Bradley, Illinois, Vic graduated from Bishop McNamara High School in 1971. After high school, Vic earned an associate’s degree in Marketing and, in later years, separate associate’s degrees in accounting and business. An aficionado of all thing musical, as a child he earned ribbons for playing the accordion, and later he played guitar with friends in a “garage band.” He loved the Blues, and late 60’s and early 70’s rock (especially Pink Floyd). He often reminisced about the great music he heard on WXRT when he lived in the Chicago area and loathed anything resembling disco or rap music. In the early 1980’s, he moved to Bradenton, Florida, where he eventually met and married his wife of 25 years, Margaret “Peggy” (Wilson) Boucher, who survives. Vic worked for many years at Armstrong, and among other places, Agoggle and Insulator Seal in Sarasota, Florida, and DMJM Aviation and ASI Building Products in Fort Myers, Florida. Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard R. and Jane (Goff) Boucher. Along with his wife Peg, he is survived by his sister, Anita R. Boucher of Sarasota, Florida, and his brother-in-law William B. Wilson of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
