Burial Date March 20, 2026

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Walt’s life will be held at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, on Friday, March 20, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am, with Rev. Doug Vernon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Green Bower Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made in his memory to a local no kill shelter of your choosing. Family and friends may share a condolence message online at www.joldersma-klein.com.

Uncle Whitey will always hold a special place in my heart. We always eagerly anticipated his visits to us in NY when we were growing up & loved spending time with him. I am so thankful to have such wonderful memories. My sincere condolences to all of his loved ones. I look forward the time when the grief we are all feeling now eases and gives way to happy memories of him. We are all very lucky to have had him in our lives.
