The family is planning a memorial service in Vienna, where Waltraut will be interred in the Central Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes, c/o the funeral home.

Waltraut will be greatly missed. She was such a wonderful person to work with on the patrol and was always so involved in the education component of ski patrol as well. Her beautiful photos hung in our patrol room will always keep her memory alive.
