Age 83, of Schoolcraft, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 2, 2025. She was born in Dowagiac, MI, the daughter of the late Cleo and Zora (McKee) Struble. Wanda was kind, loving and gentle. She carried no judgement towards others and loved helping them in their own endeavors, never asking for anything in return. She married Paul G. Montz in July of 1967 and together, they enjoyed nearly 54 years of marriage. Wanda was known for her loyalty to others, and for her deep love of her daughters, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was a true servant of the Lord on many levels. She was a hard worker who was employed in food service by the Portage Public Schools for many years. When not working she enjoyed doing activities and crafts, spending time with her daughters. She was also a volunteer with Kalamazoo Senior Services and spent time visiting patients at Medilodge of Portage Nursing Home. Above all Wanda loved the Lord and her warmth, smile and laughter will be missed. Wanda is survived by her daughter Sarah Montz, of Schoolcraft, and daughter Jennifer (Edward) Hayes of Boulder, Colorado; extended family and friends. She will always live in their hearts and memories.
