In accordance with his wish cremation will take place and a memorial celebration to honor his life will be held on June 11, 2023, from 1:00 to 4:00 at Gull Lake County Club, 9725 W. Gull Lake Dr. Richland, MI 49083.  Memorial contributions may be given to Centrica Care Navigators Hospice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 86, passed away at his home on April 15, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Comstock, MI, on March 10, 1937, the son of the late Donald and Myrtle (Merchant) Burlingham. Warren was a strong, kind, and outgoing man. He had a great sense of humor and was a joy to know. He worked hard as a heavy machine operator throughout his life to provide a happy home for his family and he leaves a legacy of values behind. He was a member of the Operators-Engineers Union Local 324. When not working he loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He knew how to have fun and enjoyed spending time at the casinos with his boys. Above all Warren loved his family. He was a loyal husband, loving father, and involved grandfather and great-grandfather who will be missed. In 1961, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Lucile F. (Mastin) Burlingham who survives. He is also survived by five sons, Warren H. Burlingham Jr., David Burlingham, Todd Dwine, Rick (Andrea) Burlingham and Brian (Wendy) Burlingham; grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Burlingham, Makayla Burlingham, Taryn (Brandon) Shearer-Chapman, Kristin (Nate) Thompson, Todd Burlingham, Sarah (Joseph) Spear, McKenna Burlingham, Alexis White-Burlingham; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Emma Shearer-Chapman; his loyal dog “Luther”; many extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by ten siblings.
