Age 74, passed away on Tuesday morning, January 28, 2020. Bill was born on October 9, 1945, in Kalamazoo, the son of William Albert and Alma (Dinnerboiler) Pierce Sr. On August 7, 1971, he married Darlene DeBoer who survives him. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines. Bill was a history buff and enjoyed woodworking. His wood working pieces were built to last. Bill had a great sense of humor and had the ability to make people laugh. He will be remembered as being a great and loving husband and father. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters Ingrid Pierce (Raymond “Rocky”) Garrison of Kalamazoo and Erica (Kevin) Weeks of Mendon; 2 grandchildren, Kayla and Michael; He was preceded in death by his parents.
