Bill was one of the kindest people I've ever known. He was so thoughtful, and caring. He loved his family greatly. I feel truly blessed to have known him. Even for just a short time.

Bill you will be fondly remembered as a gentleman, kind soul and a man that put a smile back on my friend Sue’s face. We will celebrate you and know that you are resting peacefully in the arms of our loving father. I’m happy for the memories of our times together and will miss your wisdom and Wit.

We always considered our meeting at a Catholic Church in Englewood, Florida as Divine intervention for two then recently widowed persons! I had no idea at that time my life would change so dramatically with your loving presence and that two totally different personalities would blend so perfectly! Your kindness and wisdom is ever present. Your wit and acceptance of my Notre Dame Spirit grew altho I knew I would never convert your Spartan Spirit. Life will not be the same without you but I will cherish every wonderful expression of your love. It was my privilege to care for you til the end! You thanked me daily or more and worried about me every step of the way! United We Stand was our “song!”” Lovingly, “Kalamazoo Sue!” the name you called me in your final hours!
