Age 82, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 24, 2021, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Moulton, AL, the daughter of the late Paul Terry and Hattie Drane. She would eventually move to Southwest Michigan and make Portage her home. She was a proud homeowner who enjoyed working in her garden and lawn. Willodean had a passion for helping others which lead her to own and operate an adult foster home for more than twenty years. When not caring for others, she enjoyed watching Westerns and spending time with her cat “Baby Boo”. She had a strong faith in the Lord and relationship with Jesus. Above all she loved her family and leaves them with many wonderful memories to cherish. She is survived by her granddaughter, Christal (Robert Aitken) Stricklin; her sister, Juanita Seabrook; her sister-in-law, Velma Drane; her daughter, Danita Horton; granddaughter, Andrea Chapin; and grandsons, Rodney and Daniel Esseltine. She was also preceded in passing by her son, Steven Stricklin; her brother, Densil Drane; and her husband, Dan Walker.
