I had the absolute privilege of meeting Yancy while delivering mail. He was one of my favorite people to run into, or just see across the way walking around doing air drums. He was always so kind to me, and never forgot my name after our first meeting (probably 14 years ago). I am so sad to hear of his passing. He was a very special person.

Yancy cared the utmost for his friends and had a fierce sense of loyalty. He always looked out for others, especially his dog, Remy, who he loved with all his heart. He was definitely a character and will never be forgotten. Love you, be safe
