Burial Date May 20, 2022

The family will receive friends during a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM, at Christ Temple Church, 3498 N. 26th St. Kalamazoo, MI 49048. The family will begin to receive visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.

I am going to miss her! She was so sweet and kind hearted! She treated everybody with love and kindness! Seems like she was always cooking for something or someone! I loved her for as long as I can remember..all of my life!! I didn’t see them very often..I was in Arkansas and they were in Naylor. Thought about them all the time. You are in the presence of God now glorifying Him!!! How wonderful is that. We will see you again Ruth!!!

Thought of you often even though I didn't get to see you. You will be missed by your many family and friends. Praying for the family. You were a Godly woman and I'm sure you are rejoicing in Heaven.

Ruth was one of the best woman you could ever hope to meet. What you saw was exactly who she was.....kind, loving, and sweet. She always had a place at her table for neighbors, visitors, extra family and friends. Her southern cooking was THE best....think German Chocolate cake for your birthday-frosting & cake from scratch! When she sang, her beautiful voice showed her devotion to God. Ruth was THE Best Mother-in-Law ever. She will be forever missed.
