A service to commemorate Barry’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, at the New Apostolic Church, 3600 West Milham Avenue, Portage, with Evangelist Peter Cook officiating. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the service at the church. To make a lasting gift in Barry’s memory you are asked to consider making a charitable donation to Rose Arbor Hospice, c/o the funeral home.

Age 57, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018. Barry was born in Kalamazoo on April 4, 1961, the son of James and Marilyn (Van Dyke) Cook, who survive him. Besides his parents he is survived by his son, Matthew Cook of Mattawan; a daughter, Rebekah Cook of Portage; brothers, James “Jimmy” (Pat Brown) Cook of Kalamazoo and Tracy (Lisa) Cook of Portage; nieces, Kailee Cook and Seraiah J. Cook; nephew, James C. Cook II; and many friends.
