Jerry Fluty introduced me to the Cook family and I was quickly welcomed as a friend and even like a family member. Stumbling across Barry's obituary this past Friday left me stunned and saddened. My sincerest condolences go out to Barry's surviving family; Mr & Mrs Cook, Tracy, Jimmy, and to his children, although we've never met. Barry will be missed by many as I know he's touched many lives.

Barry was a one of a kind guy. He was a client since 2011 and I always loved his mentality about life. The side of him I knew was very simple and black and white. He saw things a certain way and he didn't care what people thought of him. He told it like it was. As so many have said, I looked forward to hearing his response, everything is good in Barry's world! He was always eager to learn and try new things. He made great strides in the time I knew him. I'm saddened to hear of his passing on and send my love to his family and friends. I'll cherish the memories of him and make sure the lessons I learned from him carry on through my life. I'll look forward to seeing him again beyond the physical world. We love you Barry!

My sympathies, love and prayers for you Aunt Mary, Uncle Jim Tracey and Jimmy and families. I will always remember the fun times when I would spend time at their house in the summer! We had some really good water fights! I cherish all the warm fuzzy memories of spending time with Barry’s family!! I love you all???Cousin Marti Nyboer

Besides being my cousin, Barry was probably the first friend I ever had. Lots of laughs and good times. From here on out, whenever I hear thunder, I'll figure it's just Bear up there having a good laugh about something. Love you, man. See you on the other side.
