Age 34, passed away on April 20, 2021. He was born in Kalamazoo, on February 28, 1987, the son of Brian (Nancy) Labadie and Tina Hillman. Brandon was a handsome, fun and energetic young man who had a wonderful smile and great personality. He loved sports of all kinds. He played football, basketball, baseball and soccer during his school years. He attended Kalamazoo Public Schools until middle school. He then moved to Michigan School for the Deaf. He returned to Kalamazoo and graduated from Loy Norrix High School, Class of 2005. He embraced his deafness and remained deeply involved in the deaf community. He was a member of the Deaf Poker Club. He enjoyed cards and excelled at online poker. He enjoyed playing golf with his dad and friends and spending time outdoors. Brandon was an animal lover, especially dogs. Brandon was a loving son, father, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his parents, Brian Labadie, Nancy Harmon-Labadie and Tina Willard; daughter, Ezra Rose Leonard; brothers, Joe Labadie and Austin Willard; sisters, Nichole (Jeremy) Hathcock and Brianna (Ben) Tedford; grandmas, Carolyn Hillman, Nancy Labadie and Jean Harmon; many nieces, nephews aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
