January 28, 1953 - March 1, 2020

Bruce will be cremated and a memorial service to honor his life will be held in the spring. Bruce believed in the power of knowledge so memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo Literacy Council, c/o the funeral home.

I was shocked at saddened at this news. We met at church (Calvary Chapel Kalamazoo) around 2003 and became fast friends. We shared a deep passion for the Word but also had similar senses of humor. Bruce was both smart and funny. For several years maybe more we talked every night because we were both night people. The conversations were both enlightening and funny. We probably had a million Bible studies together between church and home fellowships. Bruce was funny and smart and had a heart of gold. My heart literally hurts.
