Age 20, passed away at home on April 11, 2021, four days short of her 21^st birthday. Calissa was born on April 15, 2000, in Three Rivers, MI, the daughter of Aletha J. Binion. From the beginning Calissa faced great challenges but through her life, her spirit and love for others shined through. She loved being around family and friends. She had an infectious smile and brought joy to all those she met. The way she faced her difficulties was an inspiration to those she would meet, and her impact will always be felt. Calissa loved to sing and dance, enjoyed food, coloring, and playing with her dolls. She was a wonderful sister and aunt who always found a way to make her love known. Calissa’s warmth and life will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Aletha; siblings, Srey, Paris and Allen; niece and nephew, Aubrielle and Asahd; two uncles, William and Bradley, three aunts, Michele, Teresa and Angela; godmother, Bernadette; many extended family and friends. She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, William and Yvonne Binion; great-grandmother, Clarice Curry.
