Pam, So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. Many fond memories of fishing in South Haven.

Dear Pam, family & friends: I'm SO GLAD that I had spoken with Carl twice, recently after a visit the last time I was in Michigan and will always CHERISH the photos and memories. I'm SMILING despite the sad news thanks to so many CRAZY memories of CRAZIER times enjoyed with Carl over DECADES. We first met in the mid-70's and became fast friends. It's Carl who I thank (and blame) for my intere$t in boating! 🙂 He's been in my prayers for YEARS and I'll say an extra-special one for his sweet soul and the comfort of all who love and miss Carl. Sympathetically, "Mac" KrazyBoutKruzin@gmail.com

We are deeply saddened by Carl’s passing. For over 40 years, Carl was a constant and important part of Steve’s life as his stepfather. He was also my father-in-law for the past 21 years and a deeply loved Grandpa to our sons, Connor and Chase. They will always treasure their memories of time spent with him in South Haven, fishing off the dock and riding on his boat. They also loved the football and basketball games he came to watch over the years. Steve will forever cherish the years they spent together hunting, salmon fishing, and ice fishing—experiences that shaped so much of who he is today. Carl gave our family many lasting memories, and his presence will be deeply missed. He was truly family to us in every sense of the word.

Dear Pam and Family, I was so deeply saddened to hear about Carl’s passing. My heart goes out to all of you during this incredibly difficult time. As I’ve been reflecting on our time together, my mind keeps going back to those wonderful days in South Haven.  I have so many cherished memories of the two of you, but I find myself especially grateful for the time Carl and you spent teaching me how to fish. Those moments weren't just about the fishing; they were about the patience, the laughter, and the warmth you both always showed me. Carl was a special person, and his presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. I am sending you all my love, hugs, and wishes for peace as you navigate this loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and that Carl’s memory will always have a place in my heart. With deepest sympathy and love,l Lori Greene
