I am proud to have been named after my uncle Dan. Now I am the only Daniel Losure. I am honored to carry that name. I looked up to him like a father and a friend. I miss you so much Dan. You were always brutally honest and always gave me the best life advice. My best memories of you were your stories. Uncle Dan was the master of telling stories. I love you uncle Dan.

I lost touch with Dan soon after graduation. My favorite memory of him and I was when we were in junior high seventh grade. We faked a fight to get out of math class and on the way down somehow his older brother Tod heard about the “fight”. As we were close the office Todd jumped down from the stairwell ready to kick my butt, Dan jumped in and told him that we just faked the fight to get out of class. He was a good friend. My condolences to family and friends.
