October 7, 1946 - August 12, 2018

A service commemorating Debbie’s life will be held on, Wednesday, August 22, at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Valley Church, 5240 Mt. Olivet Road, with Pastor Kyle Wartella officiating. Friends may call on the family following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Kalamazoo Animal Rescue, c/o the funeral home.

Deb and I meet when we worked together at Arvco Container. We became the best of friends. She love to sing and we both loved to dance. We both would go hear her husband Jim play with his band and dance the night away. I will always remember our great times! I am praying for Jim and her family. Rest in peace my friend.

Debbie was my Godmother and a big part of my life growing up. I will always remember the fun times we had together, especially singing along to Barbra Streisand’s “A Star is Born” soundtrack. That was her favorite. I am grateful for all of her love and support throughout my life, and I will miss her terribly. My thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies go out to her husband Jim and the rest of her family. May Debbie rest In peace and may she forever remain in our memories.
