My Uncle Hugh was a kind man who led a life of service to his community and family. He and I really enjoyed fishing and I learned a lot about it from him over the years. I always enjoyed the get togethers and family fishing contests that my Uncle Hugh and Aunt Marie hosted at their home on the lake. He was also a Huge Detroit Tigers fan. If you wanted to know anything about the team, he was the guy to ask! I will always remember him the way he is pictured here. He was actually dressed just that way the last time we spent time together. Rest in peace Uncle

I worked with Hugh in Industrial Engineering at Upjohn. He was such a kind, considerate person, and enjoyable to work with. My condolences to you Marie, and the family.

We are sad to hear this news. The picture shown is how we think of Hugh, a kind neighbor with that smile and always fishing on our lake. Our best to Marie and family,

Joe and I knew Hugh for about the last 10 years and will miss his stories. It was always a pleasure to be greeted by him at the church door. We are rejoicing at his going home to be with Jesus although he will be sorely missed by all who loved him. We pray that Marie and all will rest in the surety of his salvation and be comforted by our Lord.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Hugh. I enjoyed working with him at Upjohn and having both coffee and lunch with him. He was a very kind and considerate person.

Hugh was the nicest, kindest man I have been privileged to know. I shall miss is friendly smile, quiet demeanor and pleasant sense of humor. I will also miss him kicking my A.. with a bowling ball. I take solace in knowing the world is a better place because he was here. RIP Hugh.

My Uncle Hugh was an amazing and kind man. I will always remember the amazing fishing contests he had at his home. I have not been in touch in recent years but will miss him dearly.
