Jacob Meyer(Jake) was a dear and an outstanding man. My wife Angie and I will miss him greatly. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer a kind and considerate word. He was a fellow worker at GM, a partner in multiple business ventures, a fellow dog lover, and my golf partner. In 1965 Jabob, Rich Cipri, and I met in the Dewing Building and with others struggled to start the Comstock GM Plant. Each of us successfully continued those efforts for 30 plus years until the plant was closed and we each retired. Jacob, Rich, and I started the Wee Stor Partnership in 1979 and through many real estate and business ventures created a lasting friendship and respect for each other which exists yet today. Our ventures were successful and benefited our families for over 40 years. Jacob and his wife Mary have had many dogs. The latest is Toby who is a great friend of Angie and my dog Joey. I was amazed to see Toby(80#) and Joey(37#) wrestle and chase each other all in fun. Of course they would compete to catch the tennis balls. Most entertaining was watching the two of them swim for balls at the dog park. For years Jacob and I were golf partners in the GM Golf League. Many one dollar bills changed hands from our skins bets on multiple golf courses. We will have to settle up when we both meet again in the hereafter. Angie and I send our Love and Prayers to Jacob, Mary, and family. Paul
