Private interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery in Richland. Age 89, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022. Jim was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 28, 1932, the son of the late Beryl and Jane (Mulder) Hamilton. Jim worked in the printing business for most of his life and retired from Richland Graphics. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Jim was a dedicated family man and had a kind and outgoing personality. On January 8, 1955, he was united in marriage to the former, Betty Jean Markle, who preceded him in death on September 24, 2019. Jim is survived by his son, Steven Hamilton; granddaughters, Megan and Jaime Hamilton; great-granddaughter, Teagan Hamilton; brother, Ronald (Molly) Hamilton; sisters, Beverly Clay, Shirley (Ron) Ruster and Carol (John) Whitehead and many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Hamilton and sisters, Marlene Hamilton and Joyce King.
