I want to leave my deepest condolences to Steven and the whole family for the loss of Jim. I got to know Jim back in the years we played together in a band. We had good times playing with several guys that played jazz, not like what is being played today, but a much nicer music to hear. Jim was a very good base man which was important back then. I did know Betty even though she didn't attend any job the band had. This past year, I met with Jim for breakfast in Comstock and Michell's on Gull Road, we had good talks about music and the band we played in. I have missed Jim for many years throughout, and finally glad we got together again, just wasn't long enough. Jim now will be with Betty again and in a better place too. God rest Jim's soul. Uncle Jim was such a delightful and open minded man, anytime there was any sort of a family gathering, uncle Jim and I would seek each other Out because we both look forward to talking to each other .. and believe me when I say, we talked about and shared everything .. uncle Jim will be so missed . I will never forget when I was younger and we would go to his house, uncle Jim and aunt Betty, he used to have a pet ( I want to say bull) . I was absolutely fascinated, that not only someone had a pet bull , yet my own uncle had one . Sending prayers for strength, courage for healing and love to Steve and the entire family !!! I need to share that uncle Jim has been on my mind ever since the last time I saw him. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were not able to get together and do lunch and spend time together .. that breaks my heart . I love you uncle Jim, RIP ❤️🙏
