Childhood memories all came rushing back the other day when I heard he went to our Lord, he was quite the jokester just like his Dad. I remember all of us dancing at Aunt Linda's reception to some get down music, he could bust a move. You will be missed lol Jerry, Rest in Peace.

Jerry was a special friend. I first met him when he joined our choir at the Gull Lake United Methodist Church way back in the days when Rev. Charnley was pastor. He often recalled the story when Steve convinced/coersed him into a small group. The last big event we did together was his Social Security Disability Hearing last year in February. He did attend my wife’s birthday party in May. Jerry’s gruff voice will be greatly missed as well as his frequent phone calls to discuss this and that. He Loved his family, and was a phone counselor for the Hotline for Alcohol Anonymous. He was very proud of his many years of sobriety. RIP Jerry!

You will always have a piece of my heart. Rest In Peace Jerry. The cubbies won a World Series, and you witnessed that. No doubt you are in a fantasy league in Heaven. Ken Griffey jr and Ryne Sandburg, those names resonate some great memories. May your family find peace and comfort. Heaven gained an Angel. 102195
