A memorial service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home. Visitation will take place at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Age 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Karen was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 8, 1951, the daughter of the late Lewis and Barbara (Crocker) Graham. She graduated from Central Michigan University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education. Karen was employed as a postal carrier for 37 years, retiring in 2016. After retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for the Kalamazoo Drop-In Child Care Center. Karen loved children, especially small children and made an impact on many of the kids she met over the years both on her postal route and during her time volunteering at the day care. On October 12, 1996, she married Daniel Taylor, who survives. Karen is also survived by her sister, Patti Whitlock; her nephews, Scott Long and Cameron Paielli; her niece, Molly (Ben) Barnes; great-nieces, Zoey and Cora Barnes and her cousins, Peggy (Tom) Woodside, Cathy (Rob) Van Daele and Bob (Debbie) Crocker. Besides her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Long and cousin, Bill Crocker.
