Stella, I just heard today about Lloyd's passing. I'm so sorry for the grief you have to go through. It really does help knowing where he is, that he's with Jesus Christ and his praising Him right now. I will be praying for you especially in the months to come. Sometimes you just miss them so much, even though you know they would never come back even if given the chance. I love you. You and your family have been such a faithful testimony, and a kind and good part of my Grooten family. May God's blessing, Grace and love be on you all.

I was so very sorry to read the sad news of Lloyd WY8X death. We worked with him on learning the morse code and I helped him get his Amateur Radio License to be a ham operator back in the 60's. Lloyd would stop by my office whenever he was in town to check on the home place on his visits back to Americus. He was always upbeat and a cheerful personality type person. Glad to say I knew Lloyd for over 60 yrs. I'm sure he will be missed by family, friends and his radio friends. God Bless. -- Jimmy Poole K4VBH Americus GA

Lifting you all up in prayer. Although I didn’t know Lloyd, he sounded like a wonderful man who did many great things with his life. May you be surrounded by many memories and feel the love and support from God and your friends. Love, your neighbors.

Stella - Lloyd will be missed by me and my family. You all were great and even when I had a chance to be back in Michigan last time, you were able to change their plans and see me. Because of Lloyd and Stella I have been able to help spread the Gospel all over the world. Lloyd was a great friend for me as a child, both he and Stella insured that I accepted Jesus into my heart. Lloyd you will be missed, but you will live on forever in the Kingdom of God! Amen.

Lloyd was my favorite first cousin and I will miss talking to him about our family history. We lived nearby when he was living in Chattanooga and my father was a favorite of his. I have many memories of visiting him when I was a child. He "allowed" my brother and me to play his record player when he was at work at his teenage job but we had to be very careful when listening to "Purple People Eater" and "Polka Dot Bikini" and "Please Pass the Biscuits" not to scratch the 45's. He was funny and happy and always kind to us, his younger cousins. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven!

I will certainly miss Mr. Gosa as he was a wonderful example of a Godly Christian man. His love for his family could light up a room and there was never any doubt about how much he loved Stella and Joyann. The only thing he loved more was his Savior and Lloyd smile was unmatched when he talked about his relationship with Christ. I knew Mr. Gosa more toward the end of his life when there were times he was so ill and he never once, at least to me, changed that wonderful smile or cheerful disposition. He will be missed here but he is an amazing addition to his Heavenly home,
