Age 78, passed away early Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2022. Mary was born in Kalamazoo on September 12, 1943, the daughter of Hale Samuel and Julia Mae (Sinclair) Brown. She enjoyed going to the casinos or as she called it “choir practice.” She was an avid traveler. Mary was an independent thinker, a very wise person who was good at word games. She was not afraid to offer her opinion which was always very well educated. Mary had an open-door policy in her home. She had a big heart and was a very loving person to all who knew her. Nothing was more important to her than her family. Mary is survived by her sons, George (Debra) Ludwig of Middleville and Michael Ludwig of Richland; granddaughter, Laci Ludwig; long-time companion and friend, Terry Morgan; siblings, Ann (Ken) Kammeraad, Hale Samuel (Charlotte) Brown Jr.; sister-in-law, Julie Brown; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Hal Brown.
