He has been cremated and there will be a celebration of life when the weather is appropriate. The family would like to thank the kind, caring and compassionate staff who had become part of his “family” at Vicinia Gardens for the care they gave Mike during the past eight months.  Memorial Contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice, c/o the funeral home.

I didn't know Mike all that long, but he was always so kind and welcoming when I came to your house. I will never forget his GIANT drinking cup! He always gave such good hugs, and he had a twinkle in his eye like he was about to tell a joke. I remember at the dinner at our house, he made a point to say how much he loved you, Colleen, and how he couldn't manage without you. He wanted everyone to know how much he appreciated everything you did for him. You both went through a very long battle and it showed everyone what real love and commitment is about. You lived your vows to the very end. Rest in Peace, Mike. Love, Lynne Grant

Collen and Family This saddens me to hear about Mike. He was a sweetheart and a very giving man. I know you will all miss him greatly. I agree with Riley, his stories and jokes were great. Keep his memory alive in your heart. Love to you all!
