I have one word that best describes Renate to me, “Unique”. She was one of a kind. You always knew where you stood with her, no guess work. She was smart, had her opinion and stuck to it. I miss her, our conversations and time spent together over the years.

Renate will always hold a special place in our hearts. When I was a teenager, Renate would take Mark and I to the beach, it seemed like every week in the summer. I remember Mark always had to vacuum out the car as soon as we got back home. She was a special lady who raised an amazing son. Prayers of comfort to the Taylor family during this difficult time.

What a treasure, she was! I was just thinking of her, yesterday!! I didn’t see Renata regularly, only when I wanted a very special torte! I loved the mocha one…many friends and family enjoyed it during a special occasion. So lovely to have known her! So sorry for your loss
