April 13, 1941 - November 22, 2021

A service to commemorate Richard’s life will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St. Kalamazoo. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 12:00 noon. Those wishing to make a lasting gift in Richard’s name are invited to remember the Wounded Warrior Project, c/o the funeral home.

Will miss the calls outta the blue.. You are who I always called my uncle.. My heart is broken.. Will miss the dirty jokes ya would call me with, and the crazy stories you would tell me. You were always there when I needed someone , even just to talk. And the only one that helped me with my dad, when he was so ill. I will never forget, and I love ya Uncle Richard!
