December 13, 1936 - October 2, 2021

A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place at New Hope Covenant Church, 9300 E D Ave., Richland, MI 49083, on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Martin Shan officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 PM. Private interment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial – South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Covenant Church or Kairos Dwelling.

I’ve known Bogie since the 60’s when my dad raced at Kalamazoo Speedway, he was always fun to be around. I enjoyed visiting with him at church. He’ll be greatly missed.

Gwen, Bonnie, Ginny and family, I am so very sorry to hear about Bogie (sp). The memories I have from when I was little and at your house are very good ones. Your dad was an awesome guy and was always fun to be around. I am sure he will be very missed by many. I pray for all of your strength in the coming days. May your beautiful father rest in peace. Bonnie and family, I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Growing up in our country neighborhood brings back fond memories. I will miss visiting with your dad at our office and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
