A heartfelt thank you to all the kind and caring staff who cared for Sibby the last three years of her life at the Laurels of Galesburg and to the Centrica Care nurses for their compassionate support and care. Sibby will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Hickory Corners East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association, in c/o the funeral home.

Oh Sibella! The memories that have been flooding my mind in recent days are numerous. I will never forget your humor and your huge heart for your daughter Kim’s friends. You provided a safe place for me where I could be myself and enjoy freedom. You did such fun things with us and we laughed constantly. You encouraged me in more ways than you could ever know. I only wish I had told you at the time how special you were to me. I hope you knew. You were the cool, hip Mom that we all wished we had. You are safe now in the loving arms of Jesus. Until we meet again…..
