A visitation to honor Sonia’s life will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. A separate celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the eulogy beginning at 1 p.m. The celebration of life will be held at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, located at 7000 North Westnedge, Kalamazoo, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek Autism Society, c/o the funeral home.

My condolences to Joe and the family on Sonia passing. She was a friend and a wonderful person. Although I have not seen her in many years, I know that she was wonderful person as a mother and grandmother. She was always proud of her children and especially Tara. She filled a big void for Sonia thinking she end up with nothing but boys in the family. I remember when Joe was born in the back seat of the car and how proud both parents were when they made it to the hospital without any problems. Sonia was a wonderful person and I will remember her in my prayers.
