Oh Granny Grunt...I don\'t even know where to start. I can tell you I will always cherish the time we spent in the kitchen. We have so many memories of baking your famous peanut butter cookies, fudge, tuna casserole, cheesy potatoes and goulash. I\'m so thankful last December I was able to make fudge with you one last time. I promise not to share your secret recipe like you asked. Our trips up north were some of my favorite childhood memories and I know you enjoyed taking us grandkids to Charlevoix to see Aunt May. We had many summer memories in your van, riding to KMart and then we would go to old country buffet for lunch, your favorite. Thanksgiving and Black Friday sleepovers were always fun when we would order pizza and play monopoly all night while our parents shopped. We also looked forward to July when Marilyn would come visit and we all went out for pizza or ice cream. Through the college and adult years, my visits may have not been as often as you would\'ve hoped, but I always loved walking in your door and hearing you say, \"oh 1/2 Pint, it is so good to see you.\" I loved being your pen pal and sending you postcards from all my adventures. My favorite memory was when I moved back from Italy and you had balloons, streamers and a sign waiting for me saying, welcome home. I\'ll never forget it. Granny, I know you\'re up there with grandpa, Marilyn and everyone else you\'ve told us about. I bet you\'re talking grandpa\'s ear off right now telling him 50+ years of stories about us kids. We sure will miss you down here. Holidays changed in 2020 for us and it just won\'t be the same without you cooking the turkey and cheesy potatoes. Every time I see a wordsearch book, a squirrel or an episode of Gunsmoke, I\'ll always think of you. Until we meet again, Love you Granny! -Your 1/2 Pint

Oh grandma, i know you think when i got married that i wasnt going to be around anymore. But oh how you were wrong. I was by your side with anything through to the last day. Going to miss mowing the lawn and hearing how good it looks for the next week till I do it again. Going to miss you yelling jackass! when ever I was joking around and you didn't find my answer not so funny. Really going to miss the holidays and the evening before preping and fires in the wood stove and the sound of us all together. Yeah I know covid took that from you as well but really going to miss that! I'm really going to miss the sound of Moosey! as I wakllk in through the door. I hope your at peace and are pain free now! I hope you have found your parents, your friends, your dogs, and mostly your husband you have waited 50+ years to see again. There's no way I could ever forget the things you have taught and showed me over the years. I will await the day where I get to see you again! I love you grandma, your Moosey.
